Happy Valentine's day.  Yesterday, we finally arrived in South Africa. The flight from London was sooooo long.  It took 10 1/2 hours.  I was able to sleep on the plane for maybe 5 hours but I got to watch a lot of stuff on the plane.  We landed in the Johannesburg and drove to Pecanwood.  We are staying with my grandparents. When we arrived to Pecanwood we got to the place and we came inside and we saw that there was a pool!  We went swimming 3 times in that pool yesterday!  It is really hot here.  I already have a sunburn 😞.  After the pool, we went for a walk because we were bored and we were trying to stay awake.  Did you know that South Africa and Canada have different time zones? South Africa is 7 hours ahead of Ontario.  So if it is 4 o'clock here it is 9:00am in Nottawa.
Today is Valentine's day.  When I woke up at 10:00am, (my dad woke me up) we got our Valentine's treats.  I got 200 Rand which is the money in South Africa. If you divide 200 by 10 you get how much it is worth in Canadian currency.  Can you figure out the amount of money I got?  (Not you Mrs. Shaw) Also today, we went to Woody's for lunch and we went swimming two times. We are trying to get used to the time change right now. Tomorrow we are going to a cheetah sanctuary.  Join me tomorrow to learn more about cheetahs.
